Are 'old' Reason files from previous versions (i.e. From Reason 4) compatible with Reason 11/12? I'm considering upgrading to Reason 12.

How well are these at driving headphones? The Revelator is terrible at it. Also, it would have been nice to see forward thinking like a compression button to capture great vocals or guitar/bass going into your recording. These interfaces look nice, but as a bedroom producer, it would have been really great to see more ease of use options on these interfaces.

Great work here! I must say, I’ve never understood buying a digital synth, and trying to make it sound analog, there are so many great analog synths out there these days, emulating them in the digital domain is completely unnecessary, IMHO.

Madeira is a set of islands off the coast of North Africa. The Portuguese discovered it 500+ years ago. Amazingly there were no previous inhabitants as I understand it. Grapes and bananas grow well there. The grapes are used to make the famous Madeira wine. It is a sweet desert wine. It is different although not unlike Port wine which is named after the city of Oporto in Portugal. I didn't understand your first guess (sounded like 'cure'). I also assume Madeira cake is made with Madeira wine. Madeira is a Portuguese word which means wood. Thanks for the video.

U can also import your own samples. I have this machine & U can create any genre using it's internal tweakability. Has 4 outputs for 4 separate digital & analogue internal beat/synth sounds.

I have the 535's and i don't like them. They're annoying to put on, uncomfortable in my ear canal, wire is too stiff, barely cancels out any background noise, and almost no bass. I wore them properly, but it feels like they're digging into the side of my ear canal as if the stems were built on the wrong angle. I have old wireless galaxy buds that sound way more balanced and cancels out background noise a lot more.

and all this...can be done flawlessly on any high-end smartphone and even more

I'd like to find a lighted pad, kinda like a computer gaming desk pad that has RGB lights, but that has lights underneath the entire seqtrak, Would look cool.

There's some half decent hand flapping in this video. To take it to the next level though, it needs to be at chest-level or above and slightly more 'swishy'. Do that and it'll qualify for the Flailing Kite Mark.

Hmmm, I wonder how the ES 2 and 4, even the HD 2 would work as a standalone audio interface with the Akai MPC Key37 Standalone. The ES Series seems to be class compliant (w/out the use of an external power supply), however the HD 2 does look like it as well but with the need for a power supply. In addition to that, will the Control App be needed, and/ or useful in the Akai MPC Key 37 as a standalone? Meaning, would I also be able to control the perimeters of the Audio Interfaces within the MPC Key 37? I'm trying to go the routed of DAW-less music creation.

So after watching this a couple of times, he appears to go in order of HS3, HS5, HS4 most, if not all of the time. You can watch for the speaker cone moving to verify. Mostly, he seemed to like the clarity and midrange of the HS3. He will mention the extra bass prevalent in the HS4, (as he is only going to say nice things), but I get the impression that he liked the 3 better, of the two new speakers. When I listen, the midrange jumps out on the HS3 when he moves from the HS4. as well. For the price, it's kind of a no brainer.. now white or black? I'm thinking white :)
